Today is our regularly scheduled quarterly scan. We would be very stressed out anyway, but after our experience three weeks ago, our anxiety is through the roof. Even if we are told this scan does not show disease, we will never again be fully able to trust that news. We are awaiting results and will post an update when they come.
Alexander is still doing very well. In fact, his wakeup from sedation was as smooth as it has ever been. He never fails to make the best of any situation: he enjoyed legos and music and stayed positive the whole time.
Tomorrow will be the one-year anniversary of the start of this nightmare. If we get results tomorrow, we need this June 4th to be better than last.
Hi Alexander….it was soooooo nice meeting you and your family today ! Thank you so much for the bracelet you gave me, I am proud to wear it, and your hugs were amazing!! You now have a very special place in my heart. I hope your whale watching trip today was lots of fun and that you saw lots of cool marine life! Wear your whale watching captain hat when you are telling all your friends about your great adventure in California! Keep in touch with me my new “Chicago” friends…..with lots of love! Barbara
