After 22 general anesthesias, chemo, and radiation treatments, we have decided that there is no way to ease his rage post anesthesia. Well, at least with medications.

We went full force with all the happy things today. I put him in his stroller, while in complete and total rage, with They Might Be Giants blaring on repeat (Istanbul and Birdhouse In Your Soul) and ran with Char outside with a pink donut with sprinkles in hand. Got outside with fresh air and found some shade where he could see the construction vehicles at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I’m about in happy tears at how fast he calmed!!!

And he ate two donuts and fruit punch!!! He lost over a pound in 48 hours so we need a good eating day!!!
