Oh how sweet it is! The Fun Dip is here!  With a 30 minute turnaround, Christy and Alexander were on the bus pretty quickly. They are about halfway to CHOA in Atlanta. Alexander is feeling a bit off which is understandable given steroids, general anesthesia, a 3 hour MRI, and a total of a 5+ hour ambulance ride. And that is just today. He wanted some Mac n Cheese after being NPO for 26 hours so that’s just what he got! He also wanted lots of mommy kisses so those got served up as well. 🥰 😘

His strength and positive attitude never cease to amaze us. They should arrive aroun 1am. Alexander will get settled in by his team and then rest is the next item. Christy is pretty beat after only sort of dozing for around 2 hours.

While we are happy with this quick transition, we recognize we are approaching the end of the beginning. The days in front of us will hopefully provide more specific answers but also much pain and suffering for our angel as he heals.

Somehow comfort can be brought in the smallest happenings. Alexander asked, “Mommy, do you like that?” Christy glanced over to where his finger was pointing. There was a bee watching over the ambulance. Maybe even Christy’s grandma. 😇

We ask each of you to bee-lieve in Alexander and his care team and bee positive! 🐝💪🏻🐝 We are fighting for the best for him so that we can optimize his chances. Again, we thank all our advocates that have been pushing along with us to get to where we are in Atlanta with Tammi and Dr. Brahma. Thank you! 🙏
